East Fork Trinity River Near Crandall affecting Kaufman County. Denton Creek Near Justin affecting Denton County. Trinity River Near Rosser affecting Kaufman and Ellis Counties. Trinity River At Dallas affecting Dallas County. Trinity River Near Long Lake (Oakwood) affecting Anderson, Leon and Freestone Counties. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas... West Fork Trinity River Near Jacksboro affecting Jack County. Chambers Creek Near Rice affecting Navarro County. Trinity River At Trinidad affecting Navarro and Henderson Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Trinity River near Long Lake (Oakwood). * WHEN...From Sunday morning until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 42.0 feet, Moderate flooding of numerous ranches along the river is expected. The Coffield Prison farm and ranch lands will be moderately flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:30 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 33.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 35.0 feet. - Flood stage is 35.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow morning and continue rising to 41.7 feet Thursday morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter.

Hail is a form of precipitation which is recognized by large solid balls or clumps of ice. Hail is created by thunderstorm clouds with strong updrafts of wind. As the hailstones remain in the updraft, ice is deposited onto them until their weight becomes heavy enough for them to fall to the earth's surface.

Hail storms can cause significant damage to crops, aircrafts, and man-made structures, despite the fact that the duration is usually less than ten minutes.

A mammatus cloud is a cloud with a unique feature which resembles a web of pouches hanging along the base of the cloud.

In the United States, mammatus clouds tend to form in the warmer months, commonly in the Midwest and eastern regions.

While they usually form at the bottom of a cumulonimbis cloud, they can also form under altostratus, altocumulus, stratocumulus, and cirrus clouds. Mammatus clouds warn that severe weather is close.
