DESCRIPTION: ...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS EXPECTED IN NORTHEASTERN MINNESOTA AND IN NORTHWESTERN WISCONSIN TODAY... .Breezy south-southwesterly to southerly winds gusting to 25 to 35 mph today along with relative humidity values as low as 15 percent will lead to critical fire weather conditions across northeastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin. Breezy southerly winds with gusts of 20 to 30 mph on Monday along with relative humidity values as low as 15 percent will lead to critical fire weather conditions across northeastern Minnesota and possibly in northwestern Wisconsin. Additional breezy southerly winds and low relative humidity on Tuesday may lead to near-critical to critical fire weather conditions. The National Weather Service in Duluth has issued a Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from Monday afternoon through Monday evening. * AFFECTED AREA...In Wisconsin, Douglas, Bayfield, Ashland, Iron, Burnett, Washburn, Sawyer and Price. * WINDS...South 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 15 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that ignite will spread rapidly and become difficult to control. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

Drizzle is precipitation in the form of water droplets which are smaller than raindrops.

Drizzle is characterized by fine, gently falling droplets and typically does not impact human habitation in a negative way. The exception to this is freezing drizzle, a condition where drizzle freezes immediately upon reaching earth's surface. Freezing drizzle is still less dangerous than freezing rain, but can potentially result in hazardous road conditions.

Fog is technically a type of stratus cloud, which lies along the ground and obscures visibility.

It is usually created when humidity in the air condenses into tiny water droplets. Because of this, some places are more prone to foggy weather, such as regions close to a body of water.

Fog is similar to mist; both are the appearance of water droplets suspended in the air, but fog is the term applied to the condition when visibility is less than 1 km.
