DESCRIPTION: * WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values of 105 to 110 expected. Low temperatures Saturday night will remain in the mid 70s to lower 80s, providing little relief from the heat. * WHERE...Portions of central, east central, south central, southeast, and west central Minnesota and northwest and west central Wisconsin. * WHEN...From noon today to 9 PM CDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Heat-related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events.
INSTRUCTION: Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

Fog is technically a type of stratus cloud, which lies along the
ground and obscures visibility.
It is usually created when humidity in the air condenses into tiny water droplets.
Because of this, some places are more prone to foggy weather, such as regions
close to a body of water.
Fog is similar to mist; both are the appearance of water droplets suspended in
the air, but fog is the term applied to the condition when visibility is less than 1 km.

Freezing rain is a condition where precipitation which has fallen in the form of
