DESCRIPTION: ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Louisiana...Texas... Sabine River At Logansport affecting De Soto, Panola and Shelby Counties. For the Sabine River...including Mineola, Hawkins, Gladewater, Longview, Beckville, Logansport...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Sabine River at Logansport. * WHEN...Until Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 28.0 feet, Expect lowland flooding problems of the heavily wooded floodplain to continue for several days. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:45 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 27.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 27.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Saturday morning to a crest of 28.1 feet Saturday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Saturday evening. - Flood stage is 28.0 feet.
INSTRUCTION: Do not drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. The next statement will be issued Friday evening at 830 PM CDT.

Similar to cirrocumulus clouds, altocumulus clouds are
characterized by cloud patches. They are distinguished by larger cloudlets
than cirrocumulus clouds but are still smaller than stratocumulus clouds.
Altocumulus clouds most commonly form in middle altitudes (between 2 and 5 km)
and may resemble, at times, the shape of a flying saucer.
These uncommon formations, called altocumulus lenticularis, are created by uplift
in the atmosphere and are most often seen in close proximity to mountains.

Cirrocumulus clouds form at high altitudes (usually around 5 km)
and have distinguishing characteristics displayed in a fine layer of
small cloud patches. These small cloud patches are sometimes referred to as
"cloudlets" in relation to the whole cloud formation.
Cirrocumulus clouds are formed from ice crystals and water droplets. Often, the
water droplets in the cloud freeze into ice crystals and the cloud becomes a
cirrostratus cloud. Because of this common occurrence, cirrocumulus cloud
formations generally pass rapidly.
