For the Ouachita River...including Felsenthal Lock and Dam, Monroe, Columbia...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Ouachita River at Felsenthal Lock and Dam. * WHEN...Until Wednesday evening. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 70.7 feet. - Bankfull stage is 65.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:30 PM CDT Sunday was 70.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Tuesday afternoon and continue falling to 68.8 feet Friday evening. - Flood stage is 70.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Cirrocumulus clouds form at high altitudes (usually around 5 km)
and have distinguishing characteristics displayed in a fine layer of
small cloud patches. These small cloud patches are sometimes referred to as
"cloudlets" in relation to the whole cloud formation.
Cirrocumulus clouds are formed from ice crystals and water droplets. Often, the
water droplets in the cloud freeze into ice crystals and the cloud becomes a
cirrostratus cloud. Because of this common occurrence, cirrocumulus cloud
formations generally pass rapidly.
