Snoqualmie River Near Snoqualmie Falls affecting King County. ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Washington... Tolt River Above Carnation affecting King County. Snoqualmie River Near Carnation affecting King County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Tolt River above Carnation. * WHEN...Until early Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...At 5,000.0 cfs, the Tolt River will flood Tolt River Rd NE and many driveways. Some homes in the San Souci area could be inaccessible due to deep and quick flood waters. This river level on the Tolt corresponds to a phase 3 flood in the King County flood system. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:15 AM PDT Thursday the flow was 3,390.0 cfs. - Flood flow is 5,000.0 cfs. - Forecast...The river will fall to near 3,300 cfs early this morning. It will begin rising later this morning cresting around 5,600 cfs Friday afternoon. The river will recede below flood stage Friday night. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Similar to cirrocumulus clouds, altocumulus clouds are
characterized by cloud patches. They are distinguished by larger cloudlets
than cirrocumulus clouds but are still smaller than stratocumulus clouds.
Altocumulus clouds most commonly form in middle altitudes (between 2 and 5 km)
and may resemble, at times, the shape of a flying saucer.
These uncommon formations, called altocumulus lenticularis, are created by uplift
in the atmosphere and are most often seen in close proximity to mountains.

Cirrocumulus clouds form at high altitudes (usually around 5 km)
and have distinguishing characteristics displayed in a fine layer of
small cloud patches. These small cloud patches are sometimes referred to as
"cloudlets" in relation to the whole cloud formation.
Cirrocumulus clouds are formed from ice crystals and water droplets. Often, the
water droplets in the cloud freeze into ice crystals and the cloud becomes a
cirrostratus cloud. Because of this common occurrence, cirrocumulus cloud
formations generally pass rapidly.
