For the Black Cypress Bayou...including Jefferson...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Black Cypress Bayou at Jefferson. * WHEN...From Saturday morning until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Lowland flooding will affect mainly timber resources. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 11.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage Saturday morning and continue rising to 14.0 feet Wednesday morning. Cirrocumulus clouds form at high altitudes (usually around 5 km)
and have distinguishing characteristics displayed in a fine layer of
small cloud patches. These small cloud patches are sometimes referred to as
"cloudlets" in relation to the whole cloud formation.
Cirrocumulus clouds are formed from ice crystals and water droplets. Often, the
water droplets in the cloud freeze into ice crystals and the cloud becomes a
cirrostratus cloud. Because of this common occurrence, cirrocumulus cloud
formations generally pass rapidly.
