DESCRIPTION: ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas... Trinity River near Moss Bluff affecting Chambers and Liberty Counties. Trinity River at Liberty affecting Liberty County. Trinity River at Riverside affecting Polk, Walker, Trinity and San Jacinto Counties. Navasota River near Normangee affecting Madison, Grimes and Brazos Counties. For the Trinity River...including Riverside, Liberty, Moss Bluff... Moderate flooding is forecast. For the Navasota River...including Normangee...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Trinity River at Liberty. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 27.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding begins as roads into several outlying communities above Liberty are closed with residents in 5 or 6 subdivisions cut off if not evacuated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:15 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 27.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 21.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 2:15 PM CDT Saturday was 27.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 28.0 feet tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 26.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 28.0 feet on 01/19/2007. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Altostratus clouds form at mid to high-level altitudes
(between 2 and 7 km) and are created by a warm, stable air mass which causes
water vapor
to condense as it rise through the atmosphere. Usually altostratus clouds are
featureless sheets characterized by a uniform color.
In some cases, wind punching through the cloud formation may give it a waved
appearance, called altostratus undulatus. Altostratus clouds
are commonly seen with other cloud formations accompanying them.

Cirrostratus clouds are high, thin clouds that form above
20,000 feet and are made mostly of ice crystals. They sometimes look like giant
feathers, horse tails, or curls of hair in the sky.
These clouds are pushed by the jet stream and can move at high speeds reaching
