DESCRIPTION: ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following river in Indiana... White River at Hazleton. .Rainfall over the last several days has caused minor flooding at Hazleton. Flooding is expected to end late tonight. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...White River at Hazleton. * WHEN...Until tomorrow evening. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Flooding begins in lowest bottomlands and a few local roads. High water affects a few low oil fields. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - There is no current observed data. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow morning and continue falling and remain below flood stage. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
INSTRUCTION: Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Flooding is occurring or is imminent. Most flood related deaths occur in automobiles. Do not attempt to cross water covered bridges, dips, or low water crossings. Never try to cross a flowing stream, even a small one, on foot. Cumulus clouds are fluffy and textured with rounded tops, and
may have flat bottoms. The border of a cumulus cloud
is clearly defined, and can have the appearance of cotton or cauliflower.
Cumulus clouds form at low altitudes (rarely above 2 km) but can grow very tall,
becoming cumulus congestus and possibly the even taller cumulonimbus clouds.
When cumulus clouds become taller, they have a greater chance of producing precipitation.
