Cedar River near Conesville affecting Louisa and Muscatine Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Cedar River at Cedar Rapids. * WHEN...From Saturday afternoon to late Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Water affects the lowest residences in Cedar Bluff. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 11.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Saturday afternoon to a crest of 12.7 feet Sunday evening. It will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
INSTRUCTION: Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. The next statement will be issued byThursday evening at 900 PM CDT.

Drizzle is precipitation in the form of water droplets which are
smaller than raindrops.
Drizzle is characterized by fine, gently falling droplets and typically does not
impact human habitation in a negative way. The exception to this is freezing drizzle,
a condition where drizzle freezes immediately upon reaching earth's surface.
Freezing drizzle is still less dangerous than freezing rain, but can
potentially result in hazardous road conditions.
