Eastern Oldham County in the Panhandle of Texas... West central Carson County in the Panhandle of Texas... Deaf Smith County in the Panhandle of Texas... Potter County in the Panhandle of Texas... * Until 1215 AM CDT. * At 1125 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Valley De Oro to 7 miles northwest of Bushland to near Wildorado to 8 miles east of Bootleg, moving southeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor damage to roofs, siding, and trees is possible. * Locations impacted include... Amarillo, Hereford, Canyon, Vega, Lake Tanglewood, Adrian, Buffalo Lake, Bushland, Valley De Oro, Boys Ranch, Umbarger, Bootleg, Wildorado, Mescalero Park, Dawn, Simms, Timbercreek Canyon, and Pantex.

Drizzle is precipitation in the form of water droplets which are
smaller than raindrops.
Drizzle is characterized by fine, gently falling droplets and typically does not
impact human habitation in a negative way. The exception to this is freezing drizzle,
a condition where drizzle freezes immediately upon reaching earth's surface.
Freezing drizzle is still less dangerous than freezing rain, but can
potentially result in hazardous road conditions.

Fog is technically a type of stratus cloud, which lies along the

Fog is similar to mist; both are the appearance of water droplets suspended in
the air, but fog is the term applied to the condition when visibility is less than 1 km.
