Medina River At Hwy 281 affecting Bexar County. ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Texas... Leon Creek At I-35S near San Antonio affecting Bexar County. Cibolo Creek at Sutherland Springs affecting Karnes and Wilson Counties. Cibolo Creek Near Falls City affecting Karnes County. Medina River at Somerset affecting Bexar County. * WHAT...Action stage is forecast. * WHERE...Medina River at Somerset. * WHEN...Until tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Water reaches slab of Knights of Columbus business office at Medina River and Pearsall Road upstream near Von Ormy. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:45 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 12.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 15.5 feet late tonight. It will then fall to 5.8 feet late Saturday morning. It will rise to 5.9 feet early Saturday afternoon. Altostratus clouds form at mid to high-level altitudes
(between 2 and 7 km) and are created by a warm, stable air mass which causes
water vapor
to condense as it rise through the atmosphere. Usually altostratus clouds are
featureless sheets characterized by a uniform color.
In some cases, wind punching through the cloud formation may give it a waved
appearance, called altostratus undulatus. Altostratus clouds
are commonly seen with other cloud formations accompanying them.

Cirrostratus clouds are high, thin clouds that form above
20,000 feet and are made mostly of ice crystals. They sometimes look like giant
feathers, horse tails, or curls of hair in the sky.
These clouds are pushed by the jet stream and can move at high speeds reaching
