DESCRIPTION: ...The National Weather Service in Wichita KS has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Kansas... Smoky Hill River At Lindsborg affecting McPherson County. Smoky Hill River Near Mentor affecting Saline and McPherson Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Smoky Hill River near Mentor. * WHEN...From late Tuesday night to early Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, The lower portions of ball fields and bike trail at Burke Park in Salina floods along with soccer fields near the river south of Magnolia Road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:45 PM CDT Monday the stage was 4.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Wednesday morning to a crest of 21.4 feet Wednesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Wednesday afternoon. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
INSTRUCTION: Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov. The next statement will be issued Tuesday afternoon at noon CDT.

Drizzle is precipitation in the form of water droplets which are
smaller than raindrops.
Drizzle is characterized by fine, gently falling droplets and typically does not
impact human habitation in a negative way. The exception to this is freezing drizzle,
a condition where drizzle freezes immediately upon reaching earth's surface.
Freezing drizzle is still less dangerous than freezing rain, but can
potentially result in hazardous road conditions.
