DESCRIPTION: SVRRIW The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Central Johnson County in north central Wyoming... * Until 815 PM MDT. * At 751 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 18 miles southeast of Buffalo, moving northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of central Johnson County. This includes Interstate 25 between mile markers 277 and 283.

A contrail is an artificial cloud, created by the passing of an
aircraft.
Contrails form because water vapor in the exhaust of aircraft engines is suspended
in the air under certain temperatures and humidity conditions. These contrails
are called exhaust contrails.
Another type of contrail can form due to a temporary reduction in air pressure
moving over the plane's surface, causing condensation.
These are called aerodynamic contrails.
When you can see your breath on a cold day, it is also because of condensation.
The reason contrails last longer than the condensation from your breath is
because the water in contrails freezes into ice particles.
