AREAS AFFECTED: Camp; Morris; Cass; Wood; Upshur; Marion; Smith; Gregg; Harrison
DESCRIPTION: At 209 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong thunderstorms extending from near Pittsburg to 28 miles southwest of Golden, or extending from near Pittsburg to 29 miles southwest of Mineola, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Tyler, Longview, Whitehouse, White Oak, Gladewater, Gilmer, Mineola, Pittsburg, Leesburg, Lindale, Hughes Springs, Lone Star, Big Sandy, Hawkins, Ore City, Clarksville City, East Mountain, Rosewood, West Mountain and Liberty City.
INSTRUCTION: Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions. This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

Fog is technically a type of stratus cloud, which lies along the
ground and obscures visibility.
It is usually created when humidity in the air condenses into tiny water droplets.
Because of this, some places are more prone to foggy weather, such as regions
close to a body of water.
Fog is similar to mist; both are the appearance of water droplets suspended in
the air, but fog is the term applied to the condition when visibility is less than 1 km.
