AREAS AFFECTED: Inland Palm Beach County; Metro Palm Beach County; Coastal Palm Beach County
DESCRIPTION: At 110 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking a strong thunderstorm near Wellington. This storm was nearly stationary. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... West Palm Beach, Boynton Beach, Wellington, Lake Worth, Greenacres, Royal Palm Beach, Palm Springs, Lantana, Atlantis, Haverhill, Cloud Lake, Loxahatchee NWR, Palm Beach International Airport, Village Of Golf, Golden Lakes, Loxahatchee Groves, Gun Club Estates, Schall Circle, Royal Palm Estates, and Lake Belvedere Estates.
INSTRUCTION: These winds can down small tree limbs and branches, and blow around unsecured small objects. Seek shelter in a safe building until the storm passes. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.

Fog is technically a type of stratus cloud, which lies along the
ground and obscures visibility.
It is usually created when humidity in the air condenses into tiny water droplets.
Because of this, some places are more prone to foggy weather, such as regions
close to a body of water.
Fog is similar to mist; both are the appearance of water droplets suspended in
the air, but fog is the term applied to the condition when visibility is less than 1 km.
