Mississippi River At Natchez affecting Wilkinson, Concordia and Adams Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Mississippi River at Natchez. * WHEN...Until Monday, May 26. * IMPACTS...At 51.0 feet, Water is covering the roads in old downtown area of Fort Adams. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 51.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to continue a slow fall. - Flood stage is 48.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
INSTRUCTION: Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Cirrocumulus clouds form at high altitudes (usually around 5 km)
and have distinguishing characteristics displayed in a fine layer of
small cloud patches. These small cloud patches are sometimes referred to as
"cloudlets" in relation to the whole cloud formation.
Cirrocumulus clouds are formed from ice crystals and water droplets. Often, the
water droplets in the cloud freeze into ice crystals and the cloud becomes a
cirrostratus cloud. Because of this common occurrence, cirrocumulus cloud
formations generally pass rapidly.
