DESCRIPTION: ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Arkansas... Ouachita River At Thatcher L&D affecting Calhoun, Union and Bradley Counties. Cache River Near Patterson affecting Jackson and Woodruff Counties. For the Ouachita River...including Jones Mill Dcp, Arkadelphia, Camden, Thatcher L&D...Minor flooding is forecast. For the Cache River...including Patterson...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Ouachita River at Thatcher L&D. * WHEN...From Wednesday evening to Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...At 79.0 feet, Property in low lying areas needs to be removed. Access roads to oil and gas rigs may be flooded. Levee gates should be closed before the river reaches 80 feet. There is minor flooding at this level. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 5:30 PM CST Tuesday the stage was 77.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage Wednesday evening to a crest of 79.5 feet Thursday evening. INSTRUCTION: Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Stratocumulus clouds are similar to altocumulus clouds in their
fluffy appearance, but have a slightly darker shade due to their additional mass.
A good way to distinguish the two cloud types is to hold your hand out and measure
the size of an individual cloud; if it is the size of your thumb it is generally
an altocumulus cloud, if it is the size of your hand it is generally a
stratocumulus cloud.
It is uncommon for stratocumulus clouds to produce precipitation, but if they do
it is usually a light rain or snow.

A wall cloud forms underneath the base of a cumulonimbus cloud,
and can be a hotbed for deadly tornadoes.
Wall clouds are formed by air flowing into the cumulonimbus clouds, which can
result in the wall cloud descending from the base of the cumulonimbus cloud, or
rising fractus clouds which join to the base of the storm cloud as the wall cloud
takes shape.
Wall clouds can be very large, and in the Northern Hemisphere they generally
form at the southern edge of cumulonimbus clouds.
