DESCRIPTION: FRWAMA THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AMARILLO HAS ISSUED A FIRE WARNING AT THE REQUEST OF OKLAHOMA FORESTRY SERVICES FOR NORTHEASTERN BEAVER COUNTY. * AT 326 PM CST...A DANGEROUS WILDFIRE WAS LOCATED 8 MILES EAST OF MOCANE...OR 8 MILES NORTHEAST OF BEAVER...MOVING RAPIDLY EAST- NORTHEAST TO EAST AT 3 TO 5 MPH. * AREAS IMPACTED... NORTHEAST BEAVER COUNTY, INCLUDING HIGHWAY 64 AND THE TOWNS OF KNOWLES AND GATE. * ADDITIONAL INFORMATION...SMOKE AND FIRE WILL PRESENT A THREAT TO LIFE AND PROPERTY.

Cirrocumulus clouds form at high altitudes (usually around 5 km)
and have distinguishing characteristics displayed in a fine layer of
small cloud patches. These small cloud patches are sometimes referred to as
"cloudlets" in relation to the whole cloud formation.
Cirrocumulus clouds are formed from ice crystals and water droplets. Often, the
water droplets in the cloud freeze into ice crystals and the cloud becomes a
cirrostratus cloud. Because of this common occurrence, cirrocumulus cloud
formations generally pass rapidly.
