West central Gaines County in western Texas... * Until 800 PM CDT/700 PM MDT/. * At 730 PM CDT/630 PM MDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located near Humble City, or near Hobbs, moving east at 10 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Hobbs, Monument, Nadine, Humble City, Knowles, Lea County Regional Airport, and Industrial Airpark.

Fog is technically a type of stratus cloud, which lies along the
ground and obscures visibility.
It is usually created when humidity in the air condenses into tiny water droplets.
Because of this, some places are more prone to foggy weather, such as regions
close to a body of water.
Fog is similar to mist; both are the appearance of water droplets suspended in
the air, but fog is the term applied to the condition when visibility is less than 1 km.
