AREAS AFFECTED: Elbert/Central and East Douglas Counties Above 6000 Feet; Central and East Adams and Arapahoe Counties; North and Northeast Elbert County Below 6000 Feet/North Lincoln County; Washington County
DESCRIPTION: At 636 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from 5 miles southwest of Last Chance to 6 miles north of Simla, or extending from 29 miles north of Limon to 23 miles west of Limon, moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Limon, Simla, Agate, Cottonwood Valley, Matheson, Last Chance and Cedar Point.
INSTRUCTION: Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions. This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

Fog is technically a type of stratus cloud, which lies along the
ground and obscures visibility.
It is usually created when humidity in the air condenses into tiny water droplets.
Because of this, some places are more prone to foggy weather, such as regions
close to a body of water.
Fog is similar to mist; both are the appearance of water droplets suspended in
the air, but fog is the term applied to the condition when visibility is less than 1 km.

Freezing rain is a condition where precipitation which has fallen in the form of
water droplets reaches temperatures which are below freezing and freezes upon
