DESCRIPTION: * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...Portions of southwest Arkansas, including the following counties, Hempstead, Howard, Little River, Miller, Nevada and Sevier, southeast Oklahoma, including the following county, McCurtain, and northeast Texas, including the following counties, Bowie, Camp, Cass, Franklin, Morris, Red River and Titus. * WHEN...From Wednesday morning through Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - The combination of a slow moving front and an incoming weather system will bring periods of thunderstorms and locally heavy rainfall to far southeastern Oklahoma and portions of the Arktex along and northwest of the Interstate Corridor Wednesday and Wednesday night. Widespread rain amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected, although isolated amounts of 5 inches or more are likely. Soils remain very saturated across portions of the region and any additional heavy rainfall may rapidly run off and result in flash flooding. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Stratocumulus clouds are similar to altocumulus clouds in their
fluffy appearance, but have a slightly darker shade due to their additional mass.
A good way to distinguish the two cloud types is to hold your hand out and measure
the size of an individual cloud; if it is the size of your thumb it is generally
an altocumulus cloud, if it is the size of your hand it is generally a
stratocumulus cloud.
It is uncommon for stratocumulus clouds to produce precipitation, but if they do
it is usually a light rain or snow.

A wall cloud forms underneath the base of a cumulonimbus cloud,
and can be a hotbed for deadly tornadoes.
Wall clouds are formed by air flowing into the cumulonimbus clouds, which can
result in the wall cloud descending from the base of the cumulonimbus cloud, or
rising fractus clouds which join to the base of the storm cloud as the wall cloud
takes shape.
Wall clouds can be very large, and in the Northern Hemisphere they generally
form at the southern edge of cumulonimbus clouds.
