DESCRIPTION: ...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Illinois... Illinois River at Havana affecting Fulton, Mason and Cass Counties. Illinois River at Beardstown affecting Schuyler, Brown, Cass and Morgan Counties. Illinois River at Peoria affecting Peoria, Woodford and Tazewell Counties. Illinois River at Henry affecting Putnam and Marshall Counties. .The Illinois River continues to rise in response to recent heavy rain. Flooding is expected to develop early in the new week. The following forecasts are based on observed precipitation, soil moisture conditions, and forecast precipitation. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Illinois River at Peoria. * WHEN...From Monday evening until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Some flooding begins to bottomland not protected by levees. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 14.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late Monday evening and continue rising to a crest of 19.7 feet Thursday morning. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
INSTRUCTION: Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov.

Drizzle is precipitation in the form of water droplets which are
smaller than raindrops.
Drizzle is characterized by fine, gently falling droplets and typically does not
impact human habitation in a negative way. The exception to this is freezing drizzle,
a condition where drizzle freezes immediately upon reaching earth's surface.
Freezing drizzle is still less dangerous than freezing rain, but can
potentially result in hazardous road conditions.

Fog is technically a type of stratus cloud, which lies along the
ground and obscures visibility.
It is usually created when humidity in the air condenses into tiny water droplets.
Because of this, some places are more prone to foggy weather, such as regions
close to a body of water.
Fog is similar to mist; both are the appearance of water droplets suspended in
the air, but fog is the term applied to the condition when visibility is less than 1 km.
