DESCRIPTION: ...The Flood Advisory continues for the following rivers in Oklahoma... Cimarron River near Dover affecting Logan and Kingfisher Counties. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Cimarron River near Dover. * WHEN...Until early Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Near bankfull conditions exist along the river through Kingfisher County and into western Logan County. Some oilfield equipment in low bottomlands may be isolated for a short time. Sandpit operations near Dover may be affected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 14.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 15.4 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall to 14.0 feet Monday morning. It will rise to 15.6 feet early Tuesday afternoon. It will then fall again and remain below flood stage. - Action stage is 15.0 feet. - Flood stage is 17.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Evaporation is the transformation of liquid into gas, and it happens because
molecules are excited by the application of energy and turn into vapor.
In order for water to evaporate it has to be on the surface of a body of water.

A fractus cloud (scud) is a fragmented, tattered cloud which has
likely been sheared off of another cloud. They are accessory clouds, meaning they
develop from parent clouds, and are named in a way which describes the original
cloud which contained them.
Fractus clouds which have originated from cumulus clouds are referred to as
cumulus fractus, while fractus clouds which have originated from stratus clouds
are referred to as stratus fractus. Under certain conditions a fractus cloud might
merge with another cloud, or develop into a cumulus cloud, but usually a
fractus cloud seen by itself will dissipate rapidly.
They are often observed on the leading and trailing edges of storm clouds,
and are a display of wind activity.
