DESCRIPTION: * WHAT...For the first Heat Advisory, temperatures up to 102 expected. For the second Heat Advisory, temperatures up to 102 expected. * WHERE...Middle Rio Grande Valley including the Albuquerque Metro Area, and Northwest Plateau. * WHEN...For the first Heat Advisory, until 7 PM MDT this evening. For the second Heat Advisory, from noon to 7 PM MDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses.
INSTRUCTION: Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Cirrocumulus clouds form at high altitudes (usually around 5 km)
and have distinguishing characteristics displayed in a fine layer of
small cloud patches. These small cloud patches are sometimes referred to as
"cloudlets" in relation to the whole cloud formation.
Cirrocumulus clouds are formed from ice crystals and water droplets. Often, the
water droplets in the cloud freeze into ice crystals and the cloud becomes a
cirrostratus cloud. Because of this common occurrence, cirrocumulus cloud
formations generally pass rapidly.
