DESCRIPTION: ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas... Sulphur River Near Talco affecting Titus, Franklin, Red River and Morris Counties. For the Sulphur River...including Talco...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Sulphur River near Talco. * WHEN...From Wednesday evening to Friday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Expect minor lowland flooding of the heavily wooded floodplain. Ranchers that may have cattle and equipment in the river bottoms should move them to higher ground. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:45 PM CDT Monday the stage was 12.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet. - Forecast...The Sulphur River near Talco is expected to rise above the 20 foot flood stage late Wednesday evening to a crest of 21.5 feet Thursday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Thursday evening. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 21.8 feet on 04/15/2014. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

INSTRUCTION: Do not drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Cirrocumulus Clouds Next Topic: Cirrostratus Clouds

Cirrocumulus clouds form at high altitudes (usually around 5 km) and have distinguishing characteristics displayed in a fine layer of small cloud patches. These small cloud patches are sometimes referred to as "cloudlets" in relation to the whole cloud formation.

Cirrocumulus clouds are formed from ice crystals and water droplets. Often, the water droplets in the cloud freeze into ice crystals and the cloud becomes a cirrostratus cloud. Because of this common occurrence, cirrocumulus cloud formations generally pass rapidly.
