DESCRIPTION: TORILM The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a * Tornado Warning for... South central Brunswick County in southeastern North Carolina... * Until 615 PM EDT. * At 539 PM EDT, a confirmed waterspout was located just offshore near Ocean Isle Beach, moving northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Public confirmed waterspout offshore that may move onshore. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This tornado will be near... Holden Beach around 545 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by this tornado include Varnamtown.
INSTRUCTION: TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris. Please send your reports of hail or wind damage, including trees or large limbs downed, by calling the National Weather Service office in Wilmington at 1 800 697 3901.

Drizzle is precipitation in the form of water droplets which are
smaller than raindrops.
Drizzle is characterized by fine, gently falling droplets and typically does not
impact human habitation in a negative way. The exception to this is freezing drizzle,
a condition where drizzle freezes immediately upon reaching earth's surface.
Freezing drizzle is still less dangerous than freezing rain, but can
potentially result in hazardous road conditions.

Fog is technically a type of stratus cloud, which lies along the
ground and obscures visibility.

Fog is similar to mist; both are the appearance of water droplets suspended in
the air, but fog is the term applied to the condition when visibility is less than 1 km.
