Wildcat Creek near Lafayette. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana... Wildcat Creek at Kokomo. .Rainfall amounts of 3 to 5 inches across portions of central Indiana late Friday into early Saturday continues to produce minor flooding along area creeks and rivers. Flooding along Wildcat Creek and Wabash River will gradually diminish over the next 24 hours. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at Montezuma. * WHEN...Until late Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Several hundred acres of bottomlands along the right bank from the mouth of Sugar Creek to northern edge of Montezuma begin to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 14.8 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:45 PM EDT Sunday was 14.8 feet. - Forecast...The river will oscillate around flood stage with a maximum value of 14.9 feet just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

A nimbostratus cloud is similar to a stratus cloud in its formless,
smooth appearance. However, a nimbostratus cloud is darker than a stratus cloud,
because it is thicker.
Unlike a stratus cloud, a nimbostratus cloud typically brings with it the threat
of moderate to heavy precipitation. In some cases, the precipitation may evaporate
before reaching the ground, a phenomenon known as virga.

Precipitation in the form of water droplets is called rain.

cities is 30% greater.
