Wildcat Creek at Kokomo. .Rainfall amounts of 3 to 5 inches across portions of central Indiana late Friday into early Saturday continues to produce minor flooding along area creeks and rivers. Flooding along Wildcat Creek and Wabash River will gradually diminish over the next 24 hours. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wildcat Creek near Lafayette. * WHEN...Until late Tuesday morning. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 12.6 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:45 PM EDT Sunday was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.6 feet just after midnight tonight. Cumulus clouds are fluffy and textured with rounded tops, and
may have flat bottoms. The border of a cumulus cloud
is clearly defined, and can have the appearance of cotton or cauliflower.
Cumulus clouds form at low altitudes (rarely above 2 km) but can grow very tall,
becoming cumulus congestus and possibly the even taller cumulonimbus clouds.
When cumulus clouds become taller, they have a greater chance of producing precipitation.
