For the Rabbit Creek...including Kilgore...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Rabbit Creek at Kilgore. * WHEN...Until Friday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Expect about one hundred acres to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:45 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 13.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:45 AM CDT Tuesday was 13.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Thursday morning and continue falling to 5.8 feet Sunday morning. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Freezing rain is a condition where precipitation which has fallen in the form of
water droplets reaches temperatures which are below freezing and freezes upon
coming into contact
with surface objects. The result of this precipitation is a glaze of ice which
can be damaging to plants and man-made structures. A severe onset of freezing
rain which results in a very thick glaze of ice is known as an ice storm.

Hail is a form of precipitation which is recognized by large solid balls or
