DESCRIPTION: TORGJT The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a * Tornado Warning for... Northwestern Dolores County in southwestern Colorado... West central San Miguel County in southwestern Colorado... Northeastern San Juan County in southeastern Utah... * Until 215 PM MDT. * At 141 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 9 miles northeast of Eastland, or 16 miles east of Monticello, moving northeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Dolores, west central San Miguel and northeastern San Juan Counties, including the following locations... Egnar. This includes Colorado 141 between mile markers 6 and 23.

Cirrocumulus clouds form at high altitudes (usually around 5 km)
and have distinguishing characteristics displayed in a fine layer of
small cloud patches. These small cloud patches are sometimes referred to as
"cloudlets" in relation to the whole cloud formation.
Cirrocumulus clouds are formed from ice crystals and water droplets. Often, the
water droplets in the cloud freeze into ice crystals and the cloud becomes a
cirrostratus cloud. Because of this common occurrence, cirrocumulus cloud
formations generally pass rapidly.
